As a licensee, Akfen Renewable Energy operates 12 HEPP facilities with a total installed capacity of 225,7 MW and an annual production capacity of 895 GWh in many locations in Turkey.
Akfen Renewable Energy Inc.’s hydroelectric power plant facilities have been established on rapid rivers or their arms such as Sakarya, Kızılırmak and Çoruh rivers; they are spread over many regions of the country, and offer a balanced production against possible seasonal changes. Equipped with the best modern equipment, these facilities are under constant supervision of the management personnel and central organization in order to obtain highest efficiency in accordance with the planned maintenance, repair and renovation procedures.
