Responsible Suppliers
To qualify as Contract or Preferred, a supplier must be designated as the responsible supplier in the bidding/evaluation process. It means that the supplier, whether a company or individual responsible, has the appropriate legal authority to do business, a satisfactory record of integrity, appropriate financial, organizational and operational capacity and controls, and acceptable performance under previous government and/or private contracts, if any.
